How do I change non replaceable batteries in smartphones?

This is what drives the smartphone industry forward, coupled with fanfare about bigger screens and more power ... desktop class power, computing etc.

Non-replaceable battery is a huge motivating factor. How?
1] Companies say that by giving a non-replaceable battery, they are actually preventing accidents while phone drops and stuff. Plus, lithium-polymer is more dangerous than lithium-ion and etc.
But - who drops their phone everyday?

Solution: Take it to service center.
Problem: Service center charges money to remove and replace battery. Also the battery itself will be so expensive that you would think, why not shell out 2K rupees more and get a new phone?
Thus, your problem is their profit. Its a win-win for smartphone industry.
