For a software engineer working in Wipro, Infosys or TCS, how much will be the salary after 3 years, provided the starting salary is 3 lakh per annum?

Not sure about Infy or TCS but I will tell you about WIPRO.

After completing 1 year -- You'll be eligible for confirmatory appraisal, ranges between 14%-22%.

For second year -- most likely it'll be a single digit hike, ranges between 4%-8%. If you work really hard (real hard, day or night, weekday or weekends) and have a good rapport with your lead and manager then you may get 10% or 12%. If you add value to the organization and get recognized  till Delivery Manager level then you may get a bonus (around 50,000 Rupees) or around 20%-25% hike. But the chances for this to happen is very less.

For third year -- There won't be a band progression in this year, so again a single digit hike 4%-8% same as your second year.

On an average, 3LPA+ 54,000 (18% Confirmatory hike) + 28,320 (8% hike) + 30,585 (8% hike) around 4,13,000 LPA.
