Which is easiest language to learn after learning C?

This is definitely the AWK ! You can say AWK is the "clown" brother of the C. Very close syntax, and lack of variable definition, lack of strict rules, and very friendly. So if  C guys say: "Take it easy!" This is AWK :-) During the years, when I got a complicated text file, and they wanted C, I first checked AWK possibility. I could do unbelievable things in a few line. And I enjoyed the C (like) syntax meanwhile. :-) I don't speak about the lot leisure time what you win this way :-P :-D Once there was a very complex Internet log file. I bet with a colleague. He was suffering even hours later in C. I gave the result after 20 minutes. So I recommend AWK, as an alternative way, to every C people. :-) This example is to show the close C syntax. My other AWK answers in Quora show its "clown" nature, and BRUTAL power!

For those who dont keep the example a fair C compare. Here is an 1 liner AWK, with associative matrix. It can count the occurance of each word in a book. ( my example was in the Quora the "Holy Bible" )
