You can use a legitimate "DDoS Pentesting" service, such as MazeBolt Security (which I personally recommend) or RedWolf Security. These services will generate synthetic botnet-like traffic and provide detailed attack analytics and reports.

Another option, which I don't recommend, is to go to some "blackhat" script kiddie forum and post your server as a test target.
