Is it ethical and legal to make fake views for your youtube video?

It is unethical, under certain circumstances it could be illegal as well. It is certainly against the YouTube Terms of Service that you agree to follow when you use their site. Furthermore, they can decide if they want to take down your video, your channel, or cancel your AdSense
account.
This is especially true if you are being paid by the amount of views your video gets on a CPM basis. This could in theory be classified as stealing from YouTube as you are using fake views to try and make more money. Even if you simply want to get an advantage with getting more views it is not worth it because you will not be able to get an advantage in this way.
YouTube also has very sophisticated systems in place to catch fake views and make sure people don’t cheat the system. These are always being updated too so even if you can get away with it, the system could change and you could be punished for it in the future.
I would suggest trying to share your videos in other places and communities where people may enjoy it. Don’t try and cheat to get ahead, it’s not worth it in the long run. Slow and steady wins the race.
